The Vestallas system was home to at least one habitable world, Vestallas IV, and as at 3145 was located in the St. Ives Commonality of the Capellan Confederation.[2][3]

System Description[edit]

The Vestallas system is located near the Milos and Sharpe systems.[4] The system consists of at least four worlds orbiting a class G6V primary.[1]

System History[edit]

The Vestallas system was settled during or shortly after the First Exodus from Terra and was a member of the St. Ives Mercantile League prior to the formation of the Capellan Confederation in the mid-twenty-fourth century.[5]

Planetary History[edit]

Succession Wars[edit]

Vestallas was known to hold the Capellan Confederation's treasure. Its underground vaults contained priceless works of art; precious stones; bars of gold, silver, and germanium; and hard currency from the Confederation and other Successor States. The world easily fell to the St. Ives Compact as the Strategios had stationed no military forces on the world since 2897. In that year a special forces platoon of the CCAF penetrated the largest vault and attempted to declare itself the new ruling class of Vestallas. After loyal special forces units executed the traitors, the CCAF withdrew all military forces from the world to prevent such attacks from happening again.[1]

When the St. Ives Compact formed, all the wealth stored on Vestallas became the basis for its treasury.
