Description[edit]

Victory Stables was created by Nashan Diversified in order to gain access not only to the Solaris VII armament market, but also to the mainstream competition circuit. This stable exists solely to promote the company's equipment and is, for the most part, a publicity stunt.[1]

Victory maintains a small training facility at Beggar's Hills, 100 km northeast of Solaris City. It consists of a large ferrocrete field, filled with walls, holoprojectors and sensors. The living areas are underground, in a reinforced bunker. The accommodations are confortable, although a bit spartan. They provide simulators and gyms to the MechWarriors, as well as viewrooms where they can review previous fights. There is an extensive databank on current Solaris Games fighters for MechWarriors to study on their future rivals.

Mock battles are also held in the forests nearby, and Victory has access to Nashan SolDesign's arena when no fights are scheduled. Because of its recording equipment and the simplicity of the battlefield, the arena is used to test new designs, weapons, and strategies.[1]

History[edit]

Victory Stables is considered a good stable, but it is a bit maligned because of its unaffiliated nature. Analysts predict that Victory should enter the Top 20 very soon. The Stable has already started to reinforce security around the Stable's grounds.

Stablemasters and Owners[edit]

Al Gordon Jr. is the stablemaster of Victory Stables.[1]

Notable Personnel[edit]

Instructors[edit]

  • Charles Ferguson is the Instructor of the Stable. He started his career in the military. Though years spent fighting in various parts of the Inner Sphere have made him cynical and cold, he does know his stuff. Under that façade Ferguson cares deeply for the men and women training under him, and views each and everv one of their victories as a personal triumph.[1]

Technicians[edit]

  • Koichi Imagawa is the Senior Technician of the Stable. He is a small Japanese man who looks more like a Buddhist monk than one of the best techs on Solaris. Imagawa has been working for Nashan for many years, and is completely loyal to the company. Calm and quiet, Imagawa is dedicated to improving his craft constantly. Newtech captured in some of Nashan's operations is sometimes sent to him for study and evaluation.[1]

Weapon Master[edit]

  • Diane Hager is the Weapon Master of the Stable. She is a small and delicate woman. She is an accomplished martial artist, Diane has won her fair share of tournaments and is well-liked by all for her no-nonsense. Like her father before her, she is entirely dedicated to Nashan.[1]

MechWarriors[edit]

It is not known how many MechWarriors fight for Victory Stables.

Known MechWarriors[edit]

MechWarrior Era Comments References
Edwin Miller Clan Invasion He was a Federated Commonwealth mechwarrior during the War of 3039. He was asked to join his friend Charles Ferguson when he signed on with Nashan. He didn't join at that time, but five years later, when the mercenary unit he belonged to was wiped out, he made his way to Solaris and was quickly accepted as Senior Mechwarrior for the Stables. [1]
Julie O'Hara Clan Invasion He was born in the Free Rasalhague Republic, but nothing else is known from her past. She is known for a temperament as fiery as her hair. Julie is quite beautiful, and she uses this to her advantage. She has made countless holo and print interviews, and is one of the rising figures in the world of arena fighting. Julie has been a fan favorite ever since she joined the stables ten months ago. [1]
Ohiro Kikuro Clan Invasion He is a young and inexperienced newcomer. He managed to impress all who are able to see him in combat. Calm and competent, he has many common interests with Victory's Senior Tech and the two of them are often seen discussing together. Ohiro is especially interested in the stables' experimental machines, which has made Diane suspicious, but so far Ohiro has a spotless record. [1]
