Description
An attempt by Clan Wolf to replace their totem mech. The Warwolf is a 75 ton heavy 'Mech conceived around long range and extremely accurate ballistic fire. At first glance the design seems to be lightly armed for its size and weight, however weapons are augmented by a Targeting Computer. The Warwolf is rather mobile, sporting Jump Jetss which make it deadly at any range.

This 'mech became famous when Clan Wolf launched its new waves onto the Inner Sphere but also when a Clan affiliated Mechwarrior, Valerius Deodatus, brought one into Solaris VII arenas. As a relatively new design, is reserved to Clan Wolf elite MechWarriors. Some MechWarriors, like Markus Kerensky, became famous with the use of Gauss Rifle they did against enemy 'mechs on a Warwolf.
This 'Mech often fight with its well-known partner, the Wulfen.

Armament
The Warwolf sports a single Gauss Rifle, and two LRM-10s. A Clan Targeting Computer makes the Gauss Rifle extremly accurate to the point where skilled pilots can specificly target certain parts of any mech at unbelievable ranges. Because the Warwolf would engage targets at an extreme range the most common weapons fire back would also be ballistic and missile fire which is why the mech is armored with reactive armor.
Variants
There are no known variants of the Warwolf

Notes
This design became famous among Mechwarrior: Age of Destruction players when one of future tournament-prize, "Vidicated" Warwolf, was officialy unreleased. But soon, some firm-new examplars pop-up among players, and so the Warwolf was soon remembered as the "forgotten tournament-prize" design, still unplayable in tournament (the same phenomena appeared with the well-known "Deception" Incubus.

The Dark Age began with the blackout (as opposed to the Jihad's whiteout) of 80% the HPG network in August of 3132. Humanity was suddenly thrust back into the early days of space travel where FTL communication was not possible and messages have to be couriered by JumpShips. This made command and control of armed forces and the governing of the Inner Sphere empires very difficult if not impossible. Just 2 years earlier Devlin Stone, founder of the Republic of the Sphere, retired and vanishes, promising that he will return when the Republic needs him the most.

The blackout allowed the Houses, Clans and other powers within and without the Republic to start reclaiming or conquering worlds they had ceded to the Republic. House Liao is the first of the great Houses to invade the Republic to claim those worlds like Liao which the Confederation had grudgingly given up. Some of the Republic's officials whose loyalty truly lies with the Great Houses or Clans attempt to secede, often through force of arms, and bring those worlds to those they pledge allegiance.

Even at the highest government of the Republic rival factions began to appear, most notably the Senate Alliance, attempting to wrest control from the Exarch in these times of turmoil.

Besieged from within and without, Exarch Jonah Levin, on October 1, 3135 enacted Fortress Republic. This plan reduced the borders of the Republic to Prefecture X and sealing them with a barrier of unknown origin. No one can leave or enter Prefecture X.
Also during these events, Jessica Marik (Halas), daughter of the false Thomas Marik, engineered the reformation of the Free Worlds League. She also legitimized her claim to the House Marik legacy by marrying Thaddeus Marik, scion of the line of Alys Rousset-Marik. She largely succeeded in her reformation plan and was pronounced Captain-General of the reformed Free Worlds League on July 3, 3139.
However the identity of the mastermind behind the blackout is still a mystery, the network is still not fully functional and the Republic remained closed with no sight of the promised return of Devlin Stone. The tale continues...

This plan reduced the borders of the Republic to Prefecture X and sealing them with some sort of device. No one can leave or enter Prefecture X.

Besieged from within and without, then Exarch Jonah Levin, on October 1, 3135 enacted Fortress Republic. This plan reduced the borders of the Republic to Prefecture X and sealing them with some sort of device. No one can leave or enter Prefecture X.

Also during these Jessica Marik (Halas), daughter of the false Thomas Marik, engineered the reunification of the Free Worlds League. She also legitimized her claim to the House Marik legacy by marrying Thaddeus Marik, scion of the line of Alys Rousset-Marik. She largely succeeded in her reunification plan and was pronounced Captain-General of the reformed Free Worlds League on July 3, 3139.

However the identity of the mastermind behind the blackout is still a mystery, the network is still not fully functional and the Republic remained closed with no sight of the promised return of Devlin Stone. The tale continues...
Description
The Valiant was developed by Vining Engineering and Salvage Teams, one of the many weapon manufacturers on Solaris VII, at the behest of Irian BattleMechs Unlimited. Based on the Scarabus, the Valiant was conceived as a light skirmisher. The Valiant first saw use during the Solaran resistance to the occupying Word of Blake in 3068. The two remaining prototypes were smuggled off world in 3070, when the design was picked up by Wakazashi Enterprises. Since the destruction of Luthien Armor Works, the heavy industry of the Draconis Combine was diversifying and expanding to keep the DCMS equipped. The need for a ready-made BattleMech design overwhelmed the traditional Draconian dislike of Hatchets. The 'Mech has received a tepid reception, even among the mercenaries that VEST has sold the design to, partly stemming from the design's meager five tons of armor.

Armament
As a fast skirmisher, the Valiant wields only three ER Medium Lasers and its Hatchet. The configuration's lack of ammo dependency is perhaps the characteristic that potential buyers are most interested in, as the chaos of the Jihad often leaves opportunities for resupply few and far between.

Variants
All these variants swap the Hatchet for ACs.
Description
The Ares represents a series of 'Mechs that are built to exceed the 100 ton mark. The Ares uses a unique tripodal chassis to support the 'Mechs weight bridging the gap between the biped 'Mechs and the quad 'Mechs. The Ares has its roots in the Rhodes Project and was first fielded sometime after 3132. Although the manufacturer of the 'Mech remains unknown intelligence has pointed to an Ares factory being located on the world of Kaus Australis in Prefecture I of the Republic of the Sphere. This intelligence, as well as the potential of the Ares was strong enough to provoke both the Lyran Commonwealth and Clan Nova Cat to raid the location in search of this factory.

While there has been a great deal of hype surrounding each version of the Ares 'Mechs they have roughly the same amount of weapons as can be loaded onto a 100 ton chassis and are outgunned by some Assault 'Mechs dating from the 3060s. One unique aspect of these 'Mechs is that they are crewed with three personel.

As part of an experimental project, only a few selected MechWarriors can operate this 'Mech. It is also notable, as a secret project, most of those MechWarriors are some of the research scientist's children or family and some also received training since their very childhood.

Armament
Each of the versions of the Ares carry a variable loadout that have a similar base chassis mirroring the way in which OmniMechs work. Itis unknown if the Ares is an actual OmniMech or if a similar base chassis was used in the construction of each to simplify the construction of the 'Mech.

At the base level each of the Ares carries on each leg a pair of Anti-Personnel Pods, an ER Small Laser and a SRM 2 launcher. On the 'Mechs torso each version of the Ares has a pair of ER Medium Lasers and a pair of LRM 5 launchers giving the Ares series of 'Mechs a good rounded base platform to start with.

Variants
Configurations
*ARS-VA - One example sighted named Zeus. This variant of the Ares is armed with a pair of ER PPCs and 3 SRM 6 launchers which allow the 'Mech to engage an enemy at long range opening holes in a targets armor and capable of seeking chinks in damaged armor.

*ARS-VB - One example sighted named Hera. Built for close combat the Hera is armed with a Heavy Gauss Rifle as its primary weapon. This is backed up by a trio of Extended Range Medium Lasers makign it a deadly 'Mech in medium to short range engagements.

*ARS-VC - One example sighted named Hades. Configured in an all around setup the Hades relies on the base LRMs for long range firepower which it supplements with an Ultra Autocanon/10 which is backed up at shorter ranges with a TSEMP as well as a pair of MRM 20 launchers.

*ARS-VD - One example sighted named Poseidon. A recent variant of the Ares series the Poseidon carries two ER PPCs, one TSEMP, and a MRM 20 launcher. This allows the Poseidon to engage an enemy at a variety of ranges and resembles a mix of the Zeus and Hades variants. This more recent version show marked improvements in speed and repairability, resulting from the experiment's progress.
This more recent version show marked improvements in speed and repairability, resulting from the experiment's progress.
Description
Jade Falcons answer to the Wolves heavy Tundra Wolf, the Shrike has become popular with commanders for its heavy and accurate weapons. Its distinctive wings, common with later Jade Falcon designs from the revitalization of the 3110s, allow the Shrike to dissipate heat almost as fast as it gains it.
However, this 'Mech, like the Gyrfalcon, quickly rise in temperature and need to be piloted with heat management care, despite wing dissipation.

Armament
The Shrike is outfitted with a powerful targeting computer that allows it to bring accurate firepower to bear on the battlefield.

Variants
A variant replaces the ER Large Lasers with ER Medium Lasers allowing the autocannons to be upgraded to Ultra AC/10s.
Another unofficial variant is fielded by Malvina Hazen and Jennifer Braille (a Solaris VII MechWarrior) what replace both autocannons by a pair of ER PPCs. The first appearance was said to be the result of a combat against a Hatchetman 'Mech the "Black Rose" (Malvina's 'Mech) suffered.
Description
Clan Jade Falcon Developed this medium-weight BattleMech as part of a Clan-wide project in the early 3110s, aiming to revitalize the whole Clan. It replaced some older designs whose parts became increasingly scarce since the loss of home world ties.
This design first saw action against Clan Wolf and Clan Hell's Horses in 3128.
Built for speed, firepower and simplicity, the Gyrfalcon became common in Jade Falcon Stars.

Armament
This design originally packs 2 Series 6b Extended Range Large Lasers and 2 Type OVR-V LB 2-X ACs.

Variants
One variant has been noticed, replacing both LB 2-X ACs by 2 Type 25 Ultra AC/2s, the original engine (by a 276 XL) and armor (by Olivetti Stage 3 brand). However, this version is unnamed, as it is a personal variant from a MechWarrior (Benj Malthus) and no proof has been found about an official variant.
Clan Jade Falcon designed the Eyrie to parallel the Cougar, only with slightly less firepower in favor of a more well-rounded combat performance. It was first used in battle on the Lyran world of Zhongshan in 3087. Since then it has been deployed throughout the Clan's battle Clusters as light 'Mech hunters and fast support. Its distinctive wings, common with later Jade Falcon designs, allow the Eyrie to dissipate heat almost as fast as it gains it.
Sporting 2 Type 3 Series ATM 3s plus 2 Series 6a ER Medium Lasers and 4 General Systems Micro Pulse Lasers, allowing the Eyrie good mobility and armor, as well as great up-close firepower for its size and a minimized ammunition dependance.
The Eyrie also include claws in its legs, allowing it to rip important armor pieces apart while performing Death from Above manoeuvers.
Description
The Tiburon is a name that hearkens back to when Clan Sea Fox was known as Clan Diamond Shark. The Tiburon is named after a large Terran shark found in the Caribbean. The design was created as the Clan transformed itself from a decimated-yet-centralized military force to a nomadic, space-faring society of warrior-merchants. The Tiburon is just as lethal as its namesake. Unlike most other 'Mechs built by the Sea Foxes, the Tiburon is not for sale and is used exclusively by its own warriors.
The Tiburon is distinguished by its retractable and shielded weaponry, which is deploye when the Tiburon engages its target, giving him a non agressive and surprising appearance.

Armament
Fast and well-armed for its weight, the Tiburon can be used in scout and attack formations alike.
Description
The Ursus is Khan Bjorn Jorgensson's ideal fusion between Clan and Inner Sphere technologies. The first Clan BattleMech designed and manufactured entirely and exclusively in the Inner Sphere, the Ursus uses Inner Sphere technology that has not been surpassed by that of the Clans where possible to maximize the efficiency of the factories Clan Ghost Bear captured during the Clan invasion. The rest of the parts are imported from Clan space. Though it took over seven years, Ghost Bear technicians made the Clan and Inner Sphere parts work together to create this second-line 'Mech. The Ursus finally saw full-scale production in 3059 and was shipped to garrison units throughout the touman. Eight and a half tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor protect this design, but only because it would have been inefficient to use any more. An ECM Suite is also used to disrupt enemy electronics.

Armament
The Ursus is a flexible defender that mounts a variety of weapons to engage enemies at all ranges. Its weakness is in its lack of long-range capability, though the Series 7K ER Large Laser and Type X LRM-10 are respectable for a 'Mech its size. For closer work, it uses two Series 2a ER Medium Lasers, two Kolibri Delta Series Medium Pulse Lasers, and a Type VI SRM-6 launcher. This blistering hail of weapons fire is generally as effective as an Inner Sphere heavy, so the Ursus compares favorably to the designs that it is expected to stand up against.

There are no known variants of the Ursus.
Description
The Wulfen is a light scout designed to work with the Warwolf. The Wulfens primary mission is to scout ahead of the Warwolf and designate targets with a Narc Missile Beacon, making the fire of the Warwolfs even more accurate. The Wulfen itself relies on its speed and electronics for defense.

Armament
The Wulfen stays consistent with the long-range ballistic fire theme. Its primary weapon is an LB 2-X AC which out-ranges almost any weapon. The Wulfen is also armed with an SRM-2 for short range combat, which is augmented by an Artemis V Fire Control System. A Narc beacon is also equipped to help allied missile fire, particularly the Warwolfs. The Wulfen has little armor, however, it does have ECM Suite to provide some defensive measures.
Description
An attempt by Clan Wolf to replace their totem mech. The Warwolf is a 70 ton heavy 'Mech conceived around long range and extremly accurate ballistic fire. At first glance the design seems to be lightly armed for its size and weight, however weapons are augmented by an array of Advanced Targeting Computer and Artemis-V Fire Control Systems. The Warwolf is rather mobile, sporting Jump Jetss and equipped with Triple Strength Myomer, which make it deadly at any range.

A Clan Advanced Targeting Computer makes the Gauss Rifle extremly accurate to the point where skilled pilots can specificly target certain parts of any mech at unbelievable ranges. The LRMs are backed up by the new Artemis-V Fire Control System, which makes these weapons accurate as well as the Gauss Rifle is. Because the Warwolf would engage targets at an extreme range the most common weapons fire back would also be ballistic and missile fire which is why the mech is armored with reactive armor, it also sports an Advanced Anti-Missle System to deal with balistic fire of any kind.

Variants
There are no known varients of the Warwolf

Description
Built at the Victoria plant which was recently refurbished with help from the Word of Blake, the Jinggau is built on a lightweight Chariot Type II Endo Steel chassis and is powered by a VOX 325 XL engine that gives it a top speed of 86.4 km/h. Additionally, to increase its mobility, the Jinggau has five Hellespont Leaper jump jets that allow it to jump up to one hundred and fifty meters. For protection, the Jinggau carries eleven and a half tons of armor that protects the 'Mech from enemy fire. To dissipate the waste heat produced by the Jinggaus weapons and jump jets, the 'Mech has thirteen double heat sinks that are more than adequate. Overall, with its high ground speed, superior mobility, armor, and firepower the Jinggau is a 'Mech more than capable of handling most enemies on today's battlefield.

Armament
The primary weapon on the Jinggau is a powerful Zhi-tong-yao Gauss Rifle that gives the 'Mech a maximum striking distance of up to six hundred and sixty meters which allows the Jinggau the opportunity to draw the first blood on the battlefield. For close combat, the Jinggau has a brace of four Diverse Optics Type ER Medium Lasers and a single, highly accurate, Raker-IV Medium Pulse Laser.

Variants
At the time of the writing of this article there are no known variants of the Jinggau.
Description
Based on the Raven BattleMech, the Sha Yu, or "Shark", is one of the first 'Mechs to incorporate the new Stealth Armor developed by the Capellan Confederation. The Sha Yu is built on a lightweight Hellespont Type T Endo Steel and is powered by a VOX 280 XL engine that gives the Sha Yu an impressive top speed of 118.8 km/h. The Sha Yu is protected by six and a half tons of Hellespont Lite Stealth Armor, making the 'Mech extremely difficult to hit. The Sha Yu also carries a Guardian ECM Suite as part of its stealth armor in order to protect itself from enemy electronic warfare systems.

Armament
The Sha Yu is armed with a basic, yet effective, energy weapons based payload. For long range combat, the 'Mech has two Martell ER Large Lasers, providing good long range firepower. These are backed up by a pair of Diverse Optics Type ER Medium Lasers for close combat. Finally, for added lethality, the Sha Yu carries a TAG target designator allowing it to call in accurate Arrow IV artillery missile attacks on a target.

Variants
* SYU-4B - Modified for close range brawling, the 4B variant of the Sha Yu completely reconfigures the 'Mech to optimize it for use as a close combat brawler in a C3 lance. The ER Large Lasers have been dropped in favor of a single LRM-5 launcher for long range sparring. Finally, for close combat, the 'Mech has three Medium Pulse Lasers and also has a C3 Slave unit added to the 'Mech to allow it to be used in C3 lances. BV (1.0) = 962
Description
Named for the door guards who serve to ward off evil spirits from a home, the Men Shen is the first OmniMech to come from the Capellan Confederation and borrows heavily from the Raven BattleMech for its basic design concept. The 'Mech is built on a lightweight Endo Steel chassis and is powered by a vulnerable but light VOX 330 XL Engine that gives it a top speed of 97.2 km/h that is augmented by MASC system allowing the 'Mech to be pushed up to 129.6 km/h in short bursts. The Men Shen is armored with eleven tons of armor, giving it a respectable amount of armor protection. The Men Shen carries on its base chassis a Beagle Active Probe allowing it to serve in a recon role redardless of its configuration. For weapons and equipment the Men Shen has seventeen tons of free pod space.

Armament
In its primary configuration the Men Shen is not a powerful close combat 'Mech and is capable of providing indirect fire support to friendly units. For close-range combat, the primary configuration has four highly accurate Medium Pulse Lasers. To provide both direct and indirect long range fire support, the primary configuration of the Men Shen has an LRM-15 launcher with an Artemis IV fire control system for increased missile accuracy.

Alternate Configurations
* Alt Config A - A versatile configuration, the A configuration has an LB-X Autocannon/10 that allows it to fire both standard and cluster ammunition. For close combat, the A configuration has three ER Medium Lasers and a TAG laser designator allowing the 'Mech to call in friendly artillery fire on a target. BV (1.0) - 1,232

* Alt Config B - Intended to act as a long range sniper, the B configuration of the Men Shen carries as its primary weapons a pair of LB-X Autocannon/2s that allow it to fire both standard and cluster ammunition as well as act as a anti-aircraft 'Mech. For close combat, the B configuration has four ER Medium Lasers. BV (1.0) - 1,128
Description
Commissioned as part of the Xin Sheng revitalization effort by Sun Tzu Liao, the Ti Ts'ang is a heavy 'Mech that is designed with a clearly Chinese influenced aesthetic. The 'Mech also incorporates a great deal of advanced technologies, both to save weight and make the Ti Ts'ang as deadly as possible. The 'Mech is powered by a lightweight Hermes 360 XL Engine which provides a maximum speed of 97.2 km/h. The Ti Ts'ang augments this speed with with triple strength myomer which allows the 'Mech to move at speeds of up to 118.8 km/h under the correct conditions. The Ti Ts'ang saves weight for a heavier weapons payload through the use of a SL Special Endo Steel chassis that weighs half as much as a standard internal structure. For protection from enemy fire, the Ti Ts'ang has twelve and a half tons of Durallex Heavy armor giving it almost the maximum amount of armor protection a 'Mech of its size can carry.

Armament
Built exclusively for medium to short range combat, the Ti Ts'ang carries a devastating array of five Diverse Optics Type ER Medium Lasers backed up by four Diverse Optics Type ER Small Lasers as its only ranged weapons. The 'Mechs most fearsome weapon is its Hatchet, which is capable of cleaving into an enemy's 'Mech and when the triple strength myomer is is active it is capable of slicing through armor like a hot knofe through butter. Additionally, the Ti Ts'ang has an Apple Churchill 442x TAG laser designator that allows the 'Mech to call in highly accurate missile or artillery strikes.

Variants
* TSG-9J - The 9J variant of the Ti Ts'ang is built with long range combat in mind. In order to allow the 'Mech to defend itself, the TAG laser as well as two ER Medium Lasers, two ER Small Lasers, and a double heat sink have been removed to make room for an ER Large Laser, allowing the Ti Ts'ang to defend itself at long ranges.
