Overview
The Eleventh Hussar Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. The command went rogue in 2766 and became the pirate band know as the Battered Brood.
History
Star League
The Hussars formed part of Task Force Sagittarius and operated in anti-pirate sweeps rimward of the Magistracy of Canopus.[1]
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XLVIII Corps, Seventeenth Army, to the Periphery Military Region.[2] The Eleventh declared for the rebels during the Periphery Uprising in 2766.[2]
Pirates
After being declare rogue the Eleventh Hussars became known as the Battered Brood.[3]
Composition
As an SLDF Hussar regiment the Eleventh would have been composed primarily of medium to heavy 'Mechs, tanks and hovercraft.[4]
