Overview

The Eleventh Hussar Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. The command went rogue in 2766 and became the pirate band known as the Battered Brood.[1]

History

Star League

The Hussars formed part of Task Force Sagittarius and operated in anti-pirate sweeps rimward of the Magistracy of Canopus.[2]

In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XLVIII Corps, Seventeenth Army, to the Periphery Military Region.[3] The Eleventh declared for the rebels during the Periphery Uprising in 2766.[3]

Pirates

After being declared rogue the Eleventh Hussars became known as the Battered Brood.[1]

Composition

As an SLDF Hussar regiment the Eleventh would have been composed primarily of medium to heavy 'Mechs, tanks and hovercraft.[4]
