History
The Twelfth Talon Cluster was the primary defense force for the Jade Falcon capital world Ironhold.[1] [2] After the Refusal War the Twelfth was spared the reassignment of troops common to other garrison units. Despite their honorable task, the unit was not well equipped for combat outside of Trials, and Falcons assigned to the Inner Sphere held them in contempt.[3]
In November 3069 the Vipers launched assaults against Jade Falcon holdings in the Homeworlds. The Twelfth Talon was destroyed fighting against Alpha Galaxy on Ironhold.[4]
Officers
Between 3059 and 3067 the commanding officer was Star Colonel Andrea Pershaw.[3][2]

Rules
The Cluster gains a +1 initiative bonus when fighting on Ironhold. They also gain a +1 initiative bonus if fighting as a Trinary sized unit cumulative with the first bonus. If fighting in units large than a Trinary they receive a -2 initiative penalty.[5]
