History

Clan Goliath Scorpion

The Fourteenth Scorpion Hussars Cluster is the reconnaissance and deep-raiding Cluster assigned to Alpha Galaxy. With their mission profile, they frequently were the first Alpha Galaxy unit to take casualties.[1]

After the Great Refusal Alpha Galaxy was able to secure Huntress' Abysmal Continent.[2] The Hussars took up a garrison position on planet in 3060 and were still there in 3067.[3][4]

As part of the multi-Clan force Alpha Galaxy including the Fourteenth Hussars dropped onto New Kent in mid December 3075 as part of the Steel Viper Annihilation. Alpha secured its main objective of the Shandrake Massif research facility by the end of day two. Fighting continued for a least a further week before orbital bombardment reduced the last Viper strong point to dust. [5]

In 3079 the Cluster was on Roche, from here it moved to Waypoint 531, before continuing to the Umayyad Caliphate in early 3080. [6]

Officers

As of 3061 to 3067 the commanding officer was Star Colonel Jillian Scott.[1][3] By 3086 the commander was Star Colonel Kevin Kirov. [7]
