History
In 2764, the unit was stationed on Chesterton[1], assigned as a part of the XXIX Corps, Second Army to District 1 of the Federated Suns Military Region, but was moved to an District 3 during the Periphery Uprising by 2765.[2]
In February 2774 the 159th was stationed on Slocum[3].
The 159th survived the war and the Hegemony Campaign, to be absorbed by the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns by 2784.[2]
Officers
The commanding officer in 2764 is Major General Chariton Amilcar.[4]

Composition
As an SLDF BattleMech Division the 159th would have been composed with two Brigades of 'Mech regiments and one brigade of Mechanized Infantry regiments.[5]
