History

The Fifteenth Cruiser Cluster fought Clan Wolf forces on Paxon in 3059. Here they took on and defeated the attacking Twelfth Wolf Regulars. [1] In 3067 the unit was stationed on the Bloodletter WarShip.[2]

The Cluster was on Vinton in January 3073 when three Galaxies from Clan Coyote launched an assault. The Cluster’s Attack Squadron strafed the Coyote DropShips as they came in to land, prompting to Coyote naval assets to bombard the planet. The Sharks threw everything they had against the invaders including ten of the newly raised Vinton Defense Clusters. It was not enough to prevent the Coyotes from taking the planet and destroying the Fifteenth in the process.[3]

Officers

As of 3061 to 3067 the commanding officer was Star Colonel Ulna Oshika.[1][2]

Tactics

The unit was specialized in pinning the enemy in place with its 'Mechs and Elementals and hitting them with a flank attack. The BattleMech and Elemental Trinaries have been known to form ad-hoc Nova Stars during battle.[1]
