In 3010, elements of the 15th Marik Militia clashed with the mercenary unit Snord's Irregulars. At the time, they were using experimental jamming equipment. [1]
Anton’s Revolt
In 3015 the 15th took serious damage from Anton Marik's rebel forces.[2] They had been isolated on Berenson when Anton Marik adjusted their JumpShip schedules. The Fifteenth was present on the world, but couldn't get replacement parts or other supplies. With that in mind the 3rd Marik Militia and 4th Ducal Guard landed on the world. Rather than face them head on the Fifteenth conducted a guerrilla war and a series of fighting withdrawals. These tactics kept them in the field and fighting much longer than the rebel command thought they would. They lost a battalion of troops before they were reinforced by the 31st Marik Militia.[3]
Eventually the Fourth Ducal Guard was destroyed and the Third Marik Militia withdrew to Park Place. The Fifteenth pursued them, and after two weeks of heavy fighting the Third surrendered.[4]
Raiding Liao
For around a year's time in 3026 and 3027 the 15th Marik Militia fought alongside the Gray Death Legion in several raids and missions into House Liao territory, the Legion and impicitly also the 15th Marik Militia using Graham IV as a staging area to conduct their campaigns from.
By this time, the 15th Marik Militia was under the command of Colonel Jake "The Hawk" Hawkings.
During the attack on Sirius V in 3027 it was the 15th Marik Militia who was supposed to relieve the Gray Death Legion following the surrender of Sirius V, but Lord Garth of Irian and his Irian Guard arrived two weeks earlier to conduct the Tiantan Massacre and frame the Gray Death Legion for the deed, with the 15th still in transit towards the world.[5]

Andurien Secession
The 10th Marik Militia and the Fifteenth landed on Xanthe III in 3037. Expecting to face the 3rd Defenders of Andurien, the loyalist forces were surprised to find the 5th Defenders of Andurien on the world as well. The fighting didn't go well, with the Militia units under heavy fire. The Fifteenth actually shattered when the Fifth Defenders hit their rear flank.[6]
Operation Guerrero
In 3054, elements of the 15th took part in the defense of a Word of Blake HPG Station on Berenson against mercenaries supposedly hired by ComStar, an incident resulting in the destruction of the station. Later, it was revealed the entire event was orchestrated by the Blakists to create a backlash against ComStar. At this time, the unit's command lance consisted entirely of Word of Blake Grand Crusaders.[7]

Jihad
In 3067 the fourth battalion still consisted of primarily Word of Blake troops.[citation needed]
Officers
In 3025 the unit was commanded by Colonel Jake Hawkins.[8]
As of 3050 to 3054 the Commanding Officer was Colonel Nancy Rezac.[9][10]
As of 3059 the Commanding Officer was Colonel Alex Farragher, holder of the Order of the Saber, who took command in 3055[2]. He was still in command in 3067.[11]
Tactics
The members of the 15th Militia use long range fire to attack their foes.[2]
