History
After the Refusal War, many of the Seventeenth Wolf Regulars were transferred to front-line Galaxies to replace combat losses. This left the unit dramatically understrength and populated by a few Warden warriors and freeborns.[1] Though there was some concern in 3059 that the unit would be disbanded[1], the Seventeenth was still on the rolls in 3067 and had increased its numbers to 80% of its nominal strength.[2]

The commanding officer in 3059 is Star Colonel Onyx.[1]
