History[edit]

Star League[edit]

In 2765, the Eighteenth Rasalhague Regulars were stationed on Luzerne and was considered a heavy regiment. They remained on Luzerne until the First Succession War.[1][2]

Succession Wars[edit]

First Succession War[edit]

The Eighteenth Rasalhague Regulars participated in the fighting along the Lyran Commonwealth border. They survived the horrors of the First Succession War and were posted on Vorarlberg at the end of the war. They had suffered 44% losses during the fighting.[2]

Second Succession War[edit]

The Eighteenth Rasalhague Regulars also participated in the fighting of the Second Succession War. One notable action was the attack on Thorin. Paired with the Seventh Dieron Regulars, the Eighteenth's aerospace assets hammered the Lyran Fifth Skye Rangers while their ground forces moved in for the kill. However, the weather conditions changed rapidly which hampered aerial operations. The high winds hampered the lighter machines of the Combine forces, whereas the heavier forces of the Lyrans were not significantly affected. The battle turned into a slugging match where the defending Lyrans had the upper hand. After nearly a month of fighting, the Combine troops withdrew.[3]

Sometime during the conflict, the Eighteenth Rasalhague Regulars were destroyed.[4]
