Overview
The Two Hundred Fifth Dragoon Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LXVII Corps, Twentieth Army, to the Periphery Military Region. After the Twentieth Army was ordered to withdraw from the Rim Worlds Republic, the 205th joined with the 26th Royal CAAN Marines, 228th and 232nd Light Horse regiments to form an impromptu Regimental Combat Team. They had deployed more than halfway across the Lyran Commonwealth in pursuit of pirates who were apparently based in the Free Worlds League.[1]
They later moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery by 2765, to take part in the Periphery Uprising.[2] The 205th was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[2]
Composition
As an SLDF Dragoon regiment the 205th would have been composed primarily of heavy to assault 'Mechs, tanks and hovercraft.[3]
