Overview
The 231st Light Horse Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764 the 231st was assigned, as a part of the VIII Corps, Fourteenth Army, to District 1 of the Draconis Combine Military Region and then transferred to District 2 by 2765, to take part in the Periphery Uprising.[1]
Having survived the Periphery Uprising and the Hegemony Campaign the 231st was recruited by the Lyran Commonwealth, joining the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces as the reactivated Fourteenth Donegal Guards.[2]
Officers
Lieutenant Oha Heller was the Regiment's Champion between 2689 and 2693. Piloting a Dervish she fought ten duels, winning eight of them. [3]
Composition
As an SLDF Light Horse regiment the 231st would have been composed of light to medium vehicles backed up by at least two Recon companies composed of 'Mechs designed for information gathering in addition to any regular 'Mechs within the regiment.[4]
