Overview
The Two Hundred Fifty-eighth Hussar Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LXVIII Corps, Eighteenth Army, to an undisclosed district within the Periphery.[1] Its involvement in the Periphery Uprising and the Hegemony Campaign is unknown, but it had been absorbed by the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces by 2784.[1]
Members of the regiment went on to form the core of the Eleventh Tikonov Lancers in 2784.[2]
Composition
As an SLDF Hussar regiment the 258th would have been composed primarily of medium to heavy 'Mechs, tanks and hovercraft.[3]
