History
Clan Hell's Horses
The unit was originally the 27th BattleMech Cluster of Clan Hell's Horses known as the Hades Cluster. It was stationed on Tiber in 3059 [1] and by 3067 it had moved to Strato Domingo.[2]
Clan Stone Lion
After the creation of Clan Stone Lion in 3075 during the Wars of Reaving, the Cluster was renamed the 27th Iron Guards and became part of that Clan's Zeta Galaxy, [3] however by 3085 Psi Galaxy had been created and the Cluster was transferred to it. [4]

As of 3059 to 3067 the commanding officer was Star Colonel Lucias Mendoza.[5][2]
Clan Stone Lion
In 3085 the Star Colonel was Curtis Hawker. [4]
