History

The homeworld of the 2nd Albion Training Cadre is Enchi.[1] By and large the cadets of the Second Albion Training Cadre were able to stay out of the FedCom Civil War. Towards the end of the war, however, they provided a great deal of manpower for the Allied cause, eventually deposing Katherine Steiner-Davion. Though they sustained serious losses and smaller class sizes led to a smaller force, the High Command decided to fill the Cadre's open positions with soldiers from front line units.[2] After the Civil War, they redeployed to Hyalite and destroyed all Taurian Concordat resistance there.[3] The Taurian forces had discovered that the population was considerably less enthusiastic to see them than the inhabitants of the Pleiades Cluster. The Third Taurian Lancers and a small mercenary command, Lennox's Light Horse, battled against forces from the Second Albion Training Cadre before the sudden departure of the Lancers back to Concordat space left the Light Horse high and dry. Despite the slaughter of civilian dependents on Bromhead by Taurian forces the month before, the Light Horse were allowed to surrender and depart after handing over the WHM-8D Warhammer piloted by the Light Horse's CO as ransom, due to their good conduct during the campaign.[4]

In 3078 Princess-Regent Yvonne Steiner-Davion signed the Academy Appropriations War Powers Act. This act conscripted the Albion Training Cadre into the AFFS. As a result, the Second Cadre was disbanded in 3078 and integrated into the Davion Brigade of Guards. The future of the Cadre is unknown, but if reconstituted, it will likely follow the LCT model.[5]

Officers

In 3025 the unit is commanded by Major General Orlando Frenc.[6]

In 3054 the commanding officer is Leftenant General Vincent Rasmussen.[7]

As of 3062 the commanding officer was Leftenant General Giovanni Leonard.[1] He was replaced by Leftenant General Arimus Kass in 3067.[3]

The Cadre didn't exist in 3079, and so no commanding officer was assigned.[5]
