History
What started as the only regiment of Dneiper Planetary Militia had grown to a full wing by 2902. The unit has remained on Dneiper and is still fanatical about protecting the planet and the surrounding systems from pirate incursions.
Officers
Chairman Devon Newman is the current commander of the 2nd. His unique research into aerial tactics has resulted in some failure, but often catches his foes off guard.
Chairman Seymore Harris commands the ground forces of the 2nd. His background as a mercenary and mech pilot has made him the object of derision. This has not hampered his efforts to keep the units morale high in spite of the rapid growth of the ground forces from two companies to a mixed regiment.
In 3145 the commanding officer is Chairman Vicente Gupta[1]
