2nd Capellan Defense Force

History

Created by adding a Battalion of 'Mechs to several Home Guard units, and then merged into a single unit in 3060.

During the Xin Sheng Campaign, the Second was stationed on their homeworld Necromo to protect the shipyards. In 3062 they were hit by the First St. Ives Lancers, where their lack of integral air support cost them dearly.

Since the conclusion of the Xin Sheng Campaign, the Second has moved to Ares to rebuild.

The 2nd Capellan Defense Force brokered stronger relations to Ceres Metals on Capella. They might miss the opportunity to put together shadow lances of new stealth-equipped BattleMechs.The proliferation of new missile designs, the 2nd CDF has taken urban combat to a higher frightening level. They beefed up their numbers of LRM carriers and artillery vehicles.
