History

Formation

The Second Chisholm's Raiders were formed as a field reserve and training unit for the First Chisholm's Raiders.

Fourth Succession War

War of 3039

Clan Invasion

In 3055 the Second Raiders were upgraded to a full RCT. The First Raiders had been heavily damaged and lost their skills, and upgrading the Second was the fastest way to retain their unique capabilities.[1]

Operation Guerrero

Operation Bulldog

Civil War

Jihad

Officers

Rank Name Command
Commanding Officers of the 2nd Chisholm's Raiders
Colonel Henry Bauer 3025[2]
Hauptmann General Helen Eisner 3050 - 3062[3]

Notes

As of 3062, Hauptmann General Helen Eisner's aide was Leftenant General Ryan Davion-Cole.[1]

Tactics

Their equipment give this unit the flexibility to counter any enemy movement and uses the high mobile forces for flanking maneuvers. Most of their equipment can move faster than 50km/h, and over a third of it can exceed 100 km/h for short periods. In addition the unit places a great deal of emphasis on independent operations, allowing the subcommands (from lances to battalions) to function effectively.[1]
