History
Clan Hell's Horses
The unit was originally the 31st BattleMech Cluster of Clan Hell's Horses known as the Zeus Cluster. It was stationed on Kirin in 3059 [1] [2] but by 3067 had moved to Strato Domingo.[2]
Clan Stone Lion
After the creation of Clan Stone Lion in 3075 during the Wars of Reaving, the Cluster was renamed the 31st Iron Guards and became part of that Clan's Zeta Galaxy, [3] however by 3085 Psi Galaxy had been created and the Cluster was transferred to it. [4]
Officers
Clan Hell's Horses
In 3059 the commanding officer was Star Colonel Lilliana, an Elemental and dedicated Crusader.[5] By 3067 the commanding officer was Star Colonel Emilio Houan.[2]
Clan Hell's Horses
Emilio Houan retained control of the Cluster when it became part of Clan Stone Lion, even though he became the saKhan.
