Overview
The 322nd Armored Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It never appeared on standard SLDF orders of battle, as it did not fall into the standard Corps chain of command.[1]
History
The division like similar armored formations was assembled as need required, in the case of the 322nd this was around 2694 as in 2764 it was recorded as being in existence for 70 years.[1]
The Division was funded through the SLDF’s discretionary budget at the direction of the commanding general. The founding in the last few years of the 27th century would indicate that the 322nd was raised by Admiral David Peterson.[2]
Composition History
As a Division it would have been formed of three Brigades, the exact composition of these Brigades in unknown.
