History
The 32nd Recon is a successor of the original SLDF unit with the same name. It took part in the assault of Terra and get mercs after the exodus of the entire SDLF. The name is the mission, specialized in recon, raiding and harassing tasks. The unit include the command element of the entire brigade and as a result of the past (a General was killed on a mission) the Battalion is separated normally, when the rest of the 32nd Recon is on a mission. During the succession wars the regiment was a feared opponent to the CCAF and was always considered as a main defense force.
In Operation SOVEREIGN JUSTICE the 32nd was moved from Midale to Flintoft. Though this would have allowed them to respond to a TDF incursion on New Syrtis or the Pleides Cluster, the real problem was that the CCAF raided Ridgebrook. The 1st McCarron's Armored Cavalry and Prefectorate Guard landed on Ridgebrook, and the 32nd moved to respond. Unfortunately the CCAF strike was a feint, and the 32nd was stranded at Ridgebrook while New Syrtis was raided.[1]

The unit prefers terrain with the maximum of cover and uses its eletronic warfare equipment for ambushes and assaults
