History
Thirty-third Marik Militia was raised at some point after 2765.[1]
First Succession War
The Regiment was stationed on Loburg in 2786.[2] During the Bolan Thumb campaign the Thirty-third were forced off of Loburg in 2795 by the 18th Lyran Regulars. In 2803 together with the 9th Bolan Defenders they unsuccessfully defended Finsterwalde against attack from the 11th Arcturan Guards, 2nd Lyran Guards and the 12th Heavy Assault Regiment. [3] By 2821 they were on Cavanaugh II.[2]
Third Succession War
Around 3020 the Thirty-third Militia attacked Solaris. They landed using disguised DropShips, reaching their primary objectives they were hammered by the Lyran counter-attack. However, as the Militias fighters gradually lost air superiority the operation started to fail as the Thirty-third started to take heavy casualties. During a lull in the battle the 131st Battalion (Keshii's Battalion) was sent to attack the suburban hills area to draw away as many of the counter-attacking units as possible. The Battalion soon found itself taking heavy casualties as well from superior air power and Lyran assault units. The orders to retreat did not reach every command and Company B, the Swords of St. George, were cut off in a salient. When they finally attempted to retreat to their DropShips it was too late as these had already been captured.[4]
The Thirty-third were not listed on the Militia roster in 3025[5] and it appears that the attack on Solaris destroyed them as a command.

Colonel Drinkwater was in command in 3020.[4]
