History

In the Fourth Succession War one battalion was destroyed on Kawich where it took part in Operation Riposte.

Although the Third went on to fight during the Andurien-Canopus invasion of the Confederation, it tended to make suicide-stands, which caused the unit to be deactivated.

Reactivated and rebuilt in 3052, the Third fought on Denbar in the Xin Sheng Campaign, where it again disintegrated after the Command Company went on a suicide charge. The Third were replaced by the Fifth CRC and reassigned to Drozan in the Victoria Commonality.
