Overview
The Sixty-second Royal BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the VI Corps, Thirteenth Army, to District 3 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region, but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery.[1]. The Sixty-second was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising in 2765.[1]
Composition
As an SLDF BattleMech Division the Sixty-second would have been composed with two Brigades of 'Mech regiments and one brigade of Mechanized Infantry regiments.[2]
