Unit Description
The Sixth Sian Dragoons was a BattleMech exclusive Regiment serving the Capellan Confederation during Age of War and later reactivated during the late Star League era.
History
In 26th Century, the regiment was part of a floating defense unit, which was safeguarding the Free Worlds League with the Fifth Sian Dragoons. As part of the floating defense unit, one if its most notable actions was in 2529, where they blunted the attack on Shiro III by elements of the Free Worlds Guards. During its time on the border, the Sixth repulse no less than six raids by elements of the Fusiliers of Oriente on Grand Base, where the unit's nickname "Grand Base Grenadiers" stems from. The regiment was demobilization with formation of the Star League in 2570, but later reactivated with repeal of the Council Edict 2650 in the 28th Century.[1]
