Description
This new CDF unit uses the Augmented Regiment formations commonly found in the CCAF by 3145.[1] They are a second-line regiment of the Capella Commonality.[2]
The regiment is still learning to work together with its personnel unused to the increased workload of a line regiment. Composed of the Home Guard and Corporate Security of several industrial planets, the lack of action has made the unit difficult to control.[3]
History
Formation
The Seventh Capellan Defense Force was created in secret from the urban defense companies of Capella, Ares and Sarmaxa sometime before 3144 as one of the Hidden Lion regiments formed by Chancellor Daoshen Liao using stockpiled equipment.[3]
Dark Age
-3145 - The regiment was still considered too unreliable to be deployed in combat.[3] They were posted on Suzano for garrison duty.[4][3]
Officers
The commanding officer as of 3145 was Sang-shao Lenny Gatucci.[4]
Tactics
The individual members of the regiment are trained in urban combat.[3]

A pair of dice, showing pips adding up to seven, appears on all the regiment’s equipment.[3]
