Overview
The Eighty-fourth Light Horse Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XXIII Corps, Fifteenth Army, to District 2 of the Draconis Combine Military Region, and transferred to an undisclosed district within the Periphery by 2765.[1] Its involvement in the Periphery Uprising and the Hegemony Campaign is unknown, but it had been absorbed by the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces by 2784.[1] The CCAF redesignated the Eighty-fourth as the Tenth Tikonov Lancers.[2]
Composition
As an SLDF Light Horse regiment the Eighty-fourth would have been composed of light to medium vehicles backed up by at least two Recon companies composed of 'Mechs designed for information gathering in addition to any regular 'Mechs within the regiment.[3]
