One of the units assigned to boost Omicron Provisional Galaxy's strength in 2999, the 899th Gatekeeper garrisoned the SL-R64073 Weapons Plant on Brim for most of its career, primarily defending against Clan Fire Mandrill, the former owners.
During the Burrock Absorption, they served as Delta Galaxy's reserve, seeing little action.
