History
The Eighth CRC was formed due to the conscripting one member from every noble house in possession of a BattleMech.[1]
The Eighth were defeated at the gates of Tikograd in the first attacks on Tikonov and afterwards were relegated to guarding the attack force’s drop-zone during the second attack. After their poor performance they were assigned to guard the Taurian Concordat border. [1]
