Unit Description
The Eighth Rasalhague Regulars was a Light BattleMech regiment stationed on Rasalhague serving as the personal unit of the region's Warlord.[1]
History

Rasalhague
The Regulars were stationed on Rasalhague when the Free Rasalhague Republic was formed. In 3034 they were ordered to arrest Marcus Kurita. They did not do so, and in fact attacked the ISF unit that had taken Marcus into custody. They, along with the 12th Sun Zhang Academy Cadre, staged a fighting retreat to DropShips located at Rasalhague's main spaceport. Many of the 8th's warriors were able to escape to Predlitz, but several companies were left behind. The First Tyr regiment broke these elements with their furious assault on the spaceport.[2]
Predlitz
On Predlitz the First Tyr Regiment's assault 'Mechs tore through the light 'Mechs of the Eigth, having followed from Rasalhague. The Eigth was eventually destroyed by a combined force consisting of the First Tyr and the Second Sword of Light.[3]
