History
The Eighth Recon Cluster was noted for being the lightest and fastest Cluster in the Coyote Touman.[1]
The Eighth fought against Clan Star Adder's Gamma Galaxy on Brim in 3060, sustaining heavy losses.[1] After this action it was stationed on Delios.[2] By 3067 it had moved to Londerholm.[3]
The fate of the Eight Recon Cluster is not recorded, although it appears to have been destroyed during the Wars of Reaving.[4] This most likely occurred in 3071 when the Coyotes had spread both Zeta and Nu Galaxies to take control of former Wolf holdings that had been passed to them. These had subsequently come under attack as the Wolves pulled out of Clan space.[5]
Officers
In 3061 the commanding officer was Star Colonel Niles Hill.[1] By 3067 the commanding officer was Star Colonel Timothy Hollifeld.[3]

The Eighth relied on high speed and manoeuvrability to confuse its enemies.
