Overview
The Ninety-seventh Dragoon Regiment was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XLIX Corps, Eleventh Army, to District 1 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region and then transferred to District 2 by 2765, to take part in the Periphery Uprising.[1]The 97th was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[1]
Composition
As an SLDF Dragoon regiment the 97th would have been composed primarily of heavy to assault 'Mechs, tanks and hovercraft.[2]
