The Aboukir system is the location of at least one habitable world and as at 2765 was a part of the Finmark Province of the Rim Worlds Republic.[1]

System Description

Aboukir is located near the systems of Elba and Anatolia.[2]

System History

Aboukir was either settled during the Star League era or became significant enough for Inner Sphere nations to note the location of the system on maps.[3][4] Aboukir was conquered by the Lyran Commonwealth during the 2773-2775 Republic-Commonwealth War[5] and vanished from maps during the Third Succession War[5][6][7] indicating that the system had either been depopulated or was no longer considered significant enough to appear on maps.
