Originally known as the Achernar Sarna March Militia.

History
After the 3057 Marik-Liao offensive that claimed much of the Sarna March, the Militia was placed under the control of the Capellan March Militia.[1]
During the FedCom Civil War the Achernar CMM fought for Katherine Steiner-Davion. During the later waves of the Civil War, the Achernar CMM was heavily damaged. Achernar officially became part of the Capellan March Militia in 3067, after the FedCom Civil War ended.[1] The fighting of the Civil War reduced them to approximately half their pre-Civil War strength.[2]
Officers
As of 3054 the commanding officer was Leftenant General Walter Flostet.[3]
In 3062 the unit was commanded by Lieutenant General Bruce Haas.[1] In 3067 Major General Terry Neudecker is the commanding officer of the unit.[4]
Tactics
After a long history of trying to calm civil unrest, when necessary with force, they are experienced in urban fighting.[1]
