Major General Alec Coston was the commander of the Star League Defense Force's 249th Mechanized Infantry Division as of 2764.[1]

A 40 year SLDF veteran as of 2764, Coston was the senior Division CO of LIV Corps, having twice refused promotion to Corps command. His ambition did not extend beyond retaining his role with the 249th until retirement.[1]
