Planetary History

Clan Invasion

All Dawn was one of the six worlds to join together to form the Rim Collection in 3048.[18] Over the next two decades the Collection fostered international trade with other regions, particularly after awarding a contract to ComStar for operating and maintaining the Collection's HPG stations. Goods from the Rim Collection were sold as far away as the Taurian Concordat, but the largest importer of agricultural products was the Abbey District within the Free Worlds League, and the plumberry native to All Dawn proved popular with gourmets. The plumberry was a thumb-sized purple fruit which tasted like a cross between a blueberry and a lemon; in addition to the demand for supplies from gourmets, the three Southwestern Worlds—also known as the Trinity Worlds—in the Free Worlds League were also enthusiastic importers of the potent wine that could be made from plumberries.[37]

The Dark Age

All Dawn was the location of Interstellar Expeditions' SPED Near Periphery operations office that dealt with anti-spinward operations.[38] IE chose All Dawn because it was a fallback world for the leaders of the Timbuktu Province of the Rim Worlds Republic during the Amaris Civil War. Republican government officials withdrew to All Dawn, hoping to ride out the SLDF assault launched against the Republic by General Aleksandr Kerensky. As a command world for the Rim Worlds Republic, it contained a great deal of information that was historically significant.[39]
