System Information

The Alsek system is the location of at least one inhabited planet and as at 3145 was located in the Crucis March region of the Federated Suns.[1][2]

System History

The Alsek system was colonised during the First Exodus from Terra[3] and by the end of the Age of War had joined - or been annexed by - the Federated Suns.[4]

Political Affiliation

Planetary History

In 2447 Major Arthur Davion, only acknowledged son of former President of the Federated Suns Edward Davion and commander of a battalion within the Federated Peacekeeping Forces, died on Alsek. An officer within the Colonial Marines, Arthur Davion died a hero, helping fight against a rebellion on the planet, but due to the excesses of his father he would remain a largely-forgotten footnote in the history of the Federated Suns.[26]
