Alyssa Johns was a freelance mercenary MechWarrior during the Dark Age Era.[1]

It was speculated Johns may have been a member of a planetary militia which was overrun during the collapse of the Republic of the Sphere, which may have been how she acquired her 'Mech. This theory was considered to be supported by fact she was willing to lower her prices when working for other worlds in similar circumstances.[1]
Prior to Fortress Republic being implemented in 3135, while on Imbros III, it was remarked upon by others who had seen the insider of her 'Mech's cockpit that it had "I am become Kali, Destroyer of Worlds" written all of it.[2]
BattleMech[edit]
Johns was known to have piloted a KGC-20-A King Crab BattleMech, nicknamed "Gibraltar".[1]
