Andrea Christofori was the sister of Archer Christifori. Her death played a pivotal role in motivating her brother to liberate Thorin and enter the FedCom Civil War on behalf of Victor Steiner-Davion.[3]

History[edit]

Early Years[edit]

Andrea was born on Thorin, daughter of the owners/operators of Christifori Express, an interstellar shipping company. After her parents' deaths and while her brother Archer was fighting in Operation BULLDOG, she ran the company and became Archer's only living family.[4]

FedCom Civil War and Death[edit]

On 23 October 3062, her brother returned home to Thorin after serving the SLDF in BULLDOG and the Great Refusal. She waited at Eol City's spaceport to welcome him home. He gifted her his Star League Medal of Honor, which was awarded to him personally by Victor Steiner-Davion. At the time or shortly thereafter, Andrea was author to several editorials critical of the Lyran Commonwealth ruler, Archon Katherine Steiner-Davion. Her brother was a local hero, and she often accompanied him to parades and balls in his honor.[5]

Andrea and her brother to co-operated Christofori Express, sometimes engaging in debate over the Archon's rule. Under orders from the Archon, Fifteenth Arcturan Guards CO Colonel Felix Blucher began interrogating suspected pro-Davion dissidents, and Andrea made his list. On 9 November 3062, out of respect for her relation to Archer, Blutcher sent his XO, Lieutenant Luther Fisk, to personally escort Andrea from her home for an informal conversation about her editorial activities. When Andrea invited them in while she gathered newspaper copies of her editorials, a silver letter opener got caught up in her hands with her papers. Fisk mistook the letter opener for a knife, and though he was a good distance away, panicked, drew his service weapon, and shot her twice. Neither accompanying guard had fired. She died where she fell.[6]

Fisk attempted to cajole his soldiers into covering for him, hastily inventing a lie where Andrea attacked them with the blade, but eventually this fell apart and the truth was revealed. Blutcher was enraged and had Fisk arrested and court-martialed. Luther Fisk was found guilty and sentenced to 30 years in prison. Shortly thereafter, his father, Nicholas Fisk, cashed in some political favors, and Archon Katrina Steiner-Davion commuted his sentence and had him reinstated in the LCAF.[7]

Legacy[edit]

Andrea's death and Fisk's release had immediate and severe consequences. Her brother, furious at the injustice, took up arms against the Fifteenth Arcturan Guards, turned the Thorin Militia into a liberating army, and eventually won Thorin and its sister planet of Muphrid for Victor. When the end of the FedCom Civil War came, Victor granted his wish to personally arrest Katherine Steiner-Davion and remove her from the throne.[8][9]

Physical Description[edit]

Andrea, as adult, was described as shorter than her brother, but with a strong and muscular body.[10]

Notes[edit]

Andrea's middle name is "Kendrick" according to Measure of a Hero, where in Chapter 6 she is named as such at her funeral. However in Call of Duty, chapter 10, Archer's middle name is also named as "Kendrick". It appears Archer and Andrea shared a middle name, an uncommon, though not unheard of practice.
