The Arcturan Razorcat was mentioned as an analogue for the terran tiger (implicitly an extinct species by 3056), with the notion that the tiger was bigger, faster, and meaner. The impression given was that the Arcturan Razorcat was a better-known species than the tiger, as it was used to describe what a tiger is.[1]
