In 3022 High Lord Tiamati and his wife Sarah are killed in an accident. Sarah's brother Santiago Espinosa used this time of uncertainty to stage a coup, deposing the Arano family and disbanding the Founding Council, installing himself as "Director" of the realm.

Restoration

After three years in hiding High Lord Tamati's daughter Kamea emerged as the leader of the Arano Restoration movement.
