Avanishi Khalsa had one goal, to become the best MechWarrior on Solaris VII. She put her whole self into this endeavor, training up to ten hours a day and carefully crafting a public image of indestructibility worthy of the Clan she still associated herself with. She was so single-minded in the pursuit of her dream, however, that it was easy for her to alienate those around her. Time would tell whether Avanishi and her 'Mech would rise to the top, and if there would be anyone left to share her victory with.[1]
In the aftermath of the failed Clan Nova Cat rebellion, the Silver Dragon Stables vowed to eradicate any gladiators using Nova Cat equipment. They began with Avanishi Khalsa and her Cave Lion, and then they systematically worked their way through the games with deadly determination.[2]
While Khalsa's 'Mech was destroyed, her death cannot be confirmed.[citation needed]
