The Baliggora system was home to at least one habitable planet and as at 3145 was an independent system on the border of the Raven Alliance.[1][2]

System Description

The Baliggora system lies near the Dreadlord and Raldamax systems.[3][4]

System History

The Baliggora system was colonised by the Outworlds Alliance at some point during the Star League era after the end of the Reunification War.[5][3][4]

Succession Wars

The ComStar facilities on Baliggora primarily served the Explorer Corps. The headquarters of the Corps' Spinward Operations Area, the Corps missions launched from Baliggora are concentrated in the Outer Sphere and Hyades Rim.[31]

Baliggora was the regional capital of the Baliggora Province within the Outworlds Alliance.[3][20][21][23]

The Jihad

When combined forces from the Alliance Military Corps and Clan Snow Raven lay siege to Dante in September 3069, the heavy-handed act caused secessionist feelings on Baliggora and a number of other worlds to flare up, despite allegations that local terrorist activity had been linked to the Word of Blake and traced back to Dante.[32]
