Planetary History

The Dark Age

Ballad II was raided by a slaver operation from the Marian Hegemony in 3144 or just before; the slavers abducted over a thousand people, prompting the Magistracy Armed Forces to dispatch the First Magistracy Highlanders on a series of punitive deep raids into the Hegemony. The Highlanders spent almost a year working independently, smashing the slaver operation on Baccalieu and recovering all of the abducted citizens.[21]
