Benjamin DeChavilier was a son of Star League Defense Force General Aaron DeChavilier.

Benjamin was Aaron DeChavilier's youngest son and second youngest of five children. Following Stefan Amaris' takeover of the Terran Hegemony and murder of First Lord Richard Cameron on 27 December 2766, all members of the extended Cameron family were quickly detained by Republican forces. While Amaris' agents were searching for them in the wake of the Coup, Benjamin was killed along with her mother and siblings Julia and Kristina when they were rousted from their home in Unity City.[1]
