Candent "Sep" Septarian was an officer in the AFFC. She would go on to marry Ardan Sortek.[1]

History

As of 3025, Candent Septarian was a MechWarrior piloting a Warhammer[2] in the Davion Brigade of Guards, and was friends with Ardan Sortek.

In the recapture of Stein's Folly, Ardan Sortek was wounded, captured, and became an unreliable witness to strange things. Because he was a close confidant of First Prince Hanse Davion and deemed in a mentally unstable state, he was sent to Tharkad for recuperation where he convinced Archon Katrina Steiner and Melissa Steiner that something was afoot. The Steiners borrowed Sortek a JumpShip, and he in turn contacted three friends on New Avalon: Candent Septarian, Ref Handrikan, and Jarlik. The trio took leave from the Guards to meet Sortek on Stein's Folly, where they began to collect evidence and pieced together enough information on Operation Doppelganger. Alerted, they would follow Sortek to Argyle where they were instrumental in breaking Sortek and the real Hanse Davion out of captivity, which involved a raid on the castle in their BattleMechs (her Warhammer, Jarlik's Crusader and Ref's BattleMaster) to force entry.[3]

Candent held the rank of Marshal and commanded the Davion Heavy Guards, until her retirement some time just before the Clan Invasion.[4]
