Template:InfoBoxStateUnit The Capellan Defense Force was formed by Sun-Tzu Liao after the Fourth Succession War when the formerly secure Capellan Commonality became vulnerable to attack from the Federated Suns. Existing Capellan reserve regiments were renamed the Capellan Defense Force.

They share the common Confederation Crest and display a standard color scheme as well.

History

Fourth Succession War

The Defense Force performed poorly in the Liao-Marik Offensive of 3057 but redeemed itself during the St. Ives conflict where they foiled several counterattacks.

Command Structure

Available Forces

The formation field some Omnimechs from the local Ceres Metal plant and other new machines to. During the six month cicle which ended with an manuvers the unit have the opportunity to upgraded/repair their equipment. With the logistical network of CM the units can receive supplies in a short time period when needed. These capabilities could developed in wartimes in other commonalities too.

Tactics

With the region of the Capellan Commonality once again safe from aggression the unit now specializes in rapid deployment in both offensive and defensive roles. It exit an agreement with the Capella War College with the goal to improve the battle readiness of the local militias.
