Template:InfoBoxStateUnit The Capellan Defense Force was formed by Sun-Tzu Liao after the Fourth Succession War when the formerly secure Capellan Commonality became vulnerable to attack from the Federated Suns. Existing Capellan reserve regiments were renamed the Capellan Defense Force.
They share the common Confederation Crest and display a standard color scheme as well.

History
Fourth Succession War
The Defense Force performed poorly in the Liao-Marik Offensive of 3057 but redeemed itself during the St. Ives conflict where they foiled several counterattacks.
Tactics
With the region of the Capellan Commonality once again safe from aggression the unit now specializes in rapid deployment in both offensive and defensive roles.
